Day by day
DAY 1 Blantyre to Mulanje
Arrive in Blantyre and transfer to Mulanje, roughly two hours. Evening at the foot of the massif with the peaks above you.
DAY 2 Onto the mountain
Early breakfast at 6:30, hiking from 7:00 with a mountain guide onto the plateau.
DAY 3 Down and north
Descend from the massif and transfer north toward Liwonde.
DAY 4 Liwonde
Morning and afternoon game drives in Liwonde National Park.
DAY 5 River then lake
Boat safari on the Shire, then the transfer to Cape Maclear.
DAY 6 Cape Maclear
A full day on the lake — snorkelling, the islands, and a sunset cruise.
DAY 7 Return
Transfer back to Blantyre for departure.
