Day by day

DAY 1 Arrival and Lilongwe
Arrive at Kamuzu International and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour — the Kamuzu Mausoleum, the WWI memorial, the Lilongwe Nature Sanctuary and the markets.
DAY 2 Through Salima to the lake
Drive east through Salima District to Cape Maclear on the lakeshore.
DAY 3 Cape Maclear
Snorkelling and the island cruise inside Lake Malawi National Park.
DAY 4 To Liwonde
Transfer south to Liwonde National Park.
DAY 5 Liwonde
Game drives and a Shire River boat safari.
DAY 6 South to Mulanje
Transfer to Mulanje at the foot of the massif.
DAY 7 Mulanje
Guided hiking on the mountain and through the tea estates below.
DAY 8 Return and departure
Drive back to Lilongwe for your flight.
